Columbia lost a great citizen with the passing of Lewis. Long after this day, Lewis will always be remembered for his kindness and generosity which touched many people including Pamela and myself. Truly, one of a kind.
Godspeed Lewis

Lewis Garrison was a dear friend to so many people. He made all his friends feel special, as if each of us were his best friend. I have know Mr. Garrison since June of 1977. He has helped me out in many ways. He would do anything for anybody. Lewis was the most generous person I've ever known. He really did enjoy being the hands and feet of Jesus, reaching out to those who needed a friend. I will see you again my good friend. My thoughts and prays are with his sweet wife and his wonderful children, grandchildren and great grandchild. Peace & grace.

I meant to say, I have known Mr. Garrison since June of 1978, not 77. Sorry for the misprint.

Sorry to read about the death of Mr. Garrison. He was a first-rate guy in every sense. I always enjoyed talking to him and listening to his thoughts at Lindsey Wilson College Board of Trustee meetings. I know of no one who loved his home community more than Mr. Garrison or did more to help it. And I loved his annual tractor show!
You all are in my thoughts and prayers.
