Bro. Charles and Jane were much more to us than just pastor and wife. They became our family. He had such love, compassion, and sencere concern for each person he met. His main concern was letting everyone know the Jesus Christ died for them and was anxiously awaiting to save anyone who would ask. Bro. Charles prayed the most beautiful prayers I've ever heard. Such love he had for everyone but especially his family and his church family. Anything that happened to any of us or our families alll we had to do was call and he would pray for our concerns or come to us any time day or night. Some of our church family had an accident last spring and my first thought was to call him for prayers. He had already heard and was getting ready to head out to the hospital in Cookeville. The family didn't want him to get out but he and Mrs. Jane were ready to go. He was a true Shepard who tended to his flock in every way imaginable. Our loss is heavens gain. His favorite season was Easter. How very fitting for him to celebrate Easter this year by joining his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We are all so very sad at his passing, especially all our church kids, but he is rejoicing and if we think back on his teachings he would want us to be happy and to be sure we are going to be joining him in heaven one day. This would be the ultimate tribute to Bro. Charle's legacy. God's blessing to the entire family.

Charley, I was always proud of you as my little brother and even more proud of you for being such a kind and loving man. I know mom, dad and our brothers were waiting for you with open arms to welcome you home . You will always be loved and very much missed.

I am so sorry for your lost. Bro. Tone was one of the most kind, humble and caring men I have known. He was always there for my family and I always knew I could call on him and Ms. Jane at anytime. The peace I have now with such a great loss for us here is that Bro. Tone is finally resting peacefully in Heaven and being the true angel he was for all of us on earth. I am a much better Christian for knowing Bro. Tone and I feel his guidance and memories will help me spread Christian love and hope to others.
