My heart goes out to Chris and the Downs family and friends of Kim in your time of sorrow. I know Kim has left you with many precious memories from her 43 short years with us. When death robs us of someone we love very much, it causes much sadness and grief. Our loving heavenly Father, "Jehovah (Psalm 83:18) is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit." (Psalm 34:18) Isaiah 33:24 guarantees us: "And no resident will say "I am sick," ever again. Revelations 21: 4 says: "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore." I had the honor of working with Kim in Adair County School System. A beautiful person, great friend to all, wonderful teacher, loving to all. I lost my husband June 3, 2014, so I know this is more than difficult and heart breaking. Prayers & hugs to the family.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family. I went to school with Kim from Shepherd thru high school. She was a very loving and wonderful person. There are no words that can take away the hurt your feeling but just remember Kim is now a angel in Heaven and she will be watching and waiting for all her family and friends to join her someday. I'm sure she singing with the other angels with her beautiful voice. RIP KIM you will never be forgotten and I am blessed that I knew you and considered you a friend.
