Shirley Ann (Squires) Hoover

Shirley Ann Hoover, 69, of Columbia, Ky passed away Sunday, November 27, 2022, at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. She was born on August 22, 1953, in Taylor County, Ky to the late Roy and Evelyn Burris Squires.

Shirley attended Faith Temple Gospel Church and Living Word Faith Center and was a Certified Nurse Assistant for 29-years.  She enjoyed flower gardening, shopping, and spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include two children Rita Jones (Nick) and Scott Hoover (Jill) both of Columbia, KY; two granddaughters Katie and Hannah Jones; a brother Earl Squires of Campbellsville, KY; a special companion, her dog Max and a special lifelong friend Eugene Sneed.

Funeral services will be 1:00pm Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with burial in the Tarter's Chapel Cemetery.  Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4:00-8:00pm and will continue Wednesday morning at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.

Bro. Eugene Sneed and Bro. Jerry Judd will be officiating, and pallbearers will be Jeremy Burris, Randall Burris, Dale Curtsinger, Brandon Roark, Dillon Wilson, Justin James, and Terry Jefferies.
