Gloria Marcine Garrison 83 years of Cane Valley, Kentucky passed away

Thursday, March 8, 2018 at 10:30 AM at Signature Health Care- Summit Manor in Columbia, KY

She was born in Campbellsville, KY on November 24, 1934 the daughter of the late

Jack and Iva Clark Wells Curl  

She was of the Methodist faith and a member of Pollard’s Chapel. She sewed elastic at Union Underwear for 13 years. Then began farming, loving to help milk and take care of baby calves.   She enjoyed being outdoors, taking care of the yard work and working in her flowers. 

She was preceded in death by her husband: Charles Garrison in 2011, a grandson Jeremy D. Cowan in 1993, and a great grandson James Andrew Cowan in 2016

 She is survived by

One son and daughter in law:  Ronald (Mary) Garrison of Cane Valley, KY

One daughter and son in law: Rhonda (Todd) Reliford of Russell Spring, KY

Two grandchildren; Jamie “Speedy” Cowan, Jennifer Cowan of Columbia, KY

Two great grandchildren;  Skyler Hare, Ethan Cook

Two step grandchildren; Chris (Dawn) Reliford and Amanda Foster of Columbia, Ky

Three step great grandchildren Jacob, Abby, and Samatha Abrell of Columbia, KY

One great great grandchild; Emery Jean Cowan of Edmonton, KY

Funeral service:  Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home

Interment in the Cane Valley Cemetery
