Ella Mae Burton

Ella Mae Burton, 85, of Columbia, KY died Thursday, December 13, 2018 at her residence.  Born in the Flatwoods Community of Adair County she was the daughter of the late Will Andy and Molly Franklin Rodgers and wife of the late Pink Burton.  Mrs. Burton was a loving and caring mother and grandmother and previously attended the Calvary Temple Church in the Garlind community.

Survivors include four sons Billy Burton (Mitzi), Bobby Burton (Betty), Junior Burton and Clifford Burton all of Columbia, KY; two daughters Allene Cox (Gary) and Patty McColley (Henry) both of Campbellsville, KY; 9 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.  In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by four children Judy Burton, Patsy Burton, William Robinson  and Phillip Burton and two sisters Nonie Parnell and Mary Lillie Rodgers.

Funeral services will be 2:30pm Monday, December 17, 2018 at the Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with burial in Bearwallow Cemetery.  Visitation will be after 3:00pm Sunday at the funeral home.

Bro. Troy McWhorter will be officiating and pallbearers will be Henry McColley, Gary Cox, Benji Foster, Bobby Sinclair, Will Shields, Chris Burton and Brady Burton.
