Dale Shane Long, 57, of Columbia, KY died Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, KY.  Born in Hyattsville, MD he is the son of the late Henry Long, Jr. and Patricia Harrison Long who survives.

Dale was a Sales Manager for Stephens Pipe & Steel, where he loved his job immensely.  He enjoyed watching his children play sports, playing golf and hobby farming.

In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife Bobbie Roy Long of Columbia; two children Reagan and Aiden Long; a brother Henry Long, III; five sisters Beverly Long, Laura Dittes, Brenda Holson, Stephanie Patten and Tricia Stellabuto; his father and mother-in-law Arville & Linda Roy; a special friend that he thought of as his son Caylen Dial and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.

Private funeral services will be 1:00pm Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at the Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with burial in the Haven Hill Cemetery.  The services will be live-streamed on Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home facebook page.

Bro. Jerald Bryant and Terry Stephens will be officiating and pallbearers will be Brook Cochran, Charlie Newland, Jordan Veach, Jessie Roy, Roger Stockton and Greg Lawson.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to the Adair County Little League Baseball and Softball.
