Bro. Willard Lee Bryant, 73, of Columbia, KY passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2022, at his residence with his family by his side. He was born in Adair County on July 30, 1949, to the late Drurry and Frances Grider Bryant.
Bro. Bryant was a member and Assistant Pastor of Fairview Separate Baptist Church and former Pastor of Ono Community Church and Royville Community Church. Willard was a member for 39 years and former treasurer of Hood Masonic Lodge #839 and an avid Knife collector and trader. He also enjoyed farming and spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include his wife Sandra Denton Bryant of Columbia, KY; four siblings Jackie Bryant (Barbara) and Arvil Bryant (Della Faye) both of Indiana, Alvin Bryant of Columbia, KY, and Louise Heath (Mike) of Illinois; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 11:00am Monday, November 21, 2022, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with burial in the Bearwallow Cemetery. Masonic rites by Hood Lodge #839 will be on Sunday at 7:00pm and the public is welcome to attend.
Visitation will be on Sunday from 4:00-8:00pm and will continue Monday until time for the service at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.
Bro. Richie Curtis and Bro. Doug Baldwin will be officiating, and pallbearers will be Tony Denton, Troy Denton, Wes Ellis, Andrew Ellis, Zachary Hadley, John Barrick, Melody Barrick, and Brittany Scholl.
