Zora Genois "Jean" Collins age 71 years of 151 Colony Dr., Columbia, Ky. passed away Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2008 at her home

She was the daughter of the late Willie Robert & Alta L. Price Akin of Adair Co.

And was preceded in death by her husband Preston Woodruff Collins on Feb. 10, 2006

Survived by One daughter: Mary Angela Tackett & her husband Stephen of Louisville, Ky

Two sons: Philip L. Collins & his wife Barbara of Newark, Delaware &

Mark Dwayne Collins & his wife Amy Jean of Sunnyside, Utah

Five sisters: Audrey Calhoun, Flossie Price, Charlene Sexton, Margie Williams

of Columbia, Ky. & Sheila McQueary of Louisville, Ky.

Three brothers: Finley Akin of Edmonton, Ky., Dean Akin of Versailles, Ky. & Diockie Akin of Chicago, IL

Preceded in death by one brother: Rev. Bobby Akin

Also surviving 4 Grandchildren: Abraham Collins Tackett, Stephenie Marie Tackett, Timothy Preston Collins

& Isaiah Raymond Collins

2 step grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren & 2 step great grandchildren

Several nieces, nephews, a host of other relatives & friends survive

She was a member of Columbia Church of Christ & a homemaker
