He was born Dec. 4, 1940 in Adair County

He was the son of the late Lether & Ruthie Bryant Burton

Preceded in death by his wife Mary Ann Burton in 1973, one daughter Norma Hatcher

Three brothers & two sisters: Jimmy Burton, Rondall Burton, Gobel Burton,

Minny & Wanda Burton

He later married Maxine Buck Burton of Columbia, Ky. who survives

also surviving One daughter: Teresa Burton & husband Jimmy of Columbia, Ky.

One son: Donnie Burton & wife Sharon of Columbia, Ky.

two step daughters: Wanda Gayle Burden & husband Johnnie & Joyce Luster &

husband Lonnie of Columbia, Ky.

one sister: Katie McKinney of Columbia, Ky.

Three brothers: Joseph Burton, Wendell Burton & Onda Wayne Burton of

Columbia, Ky.

also surviving 6 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren & 2 step great grandchildren

He attended the Bloomington Chapel Brother In Christ Church, a saw mill operator,

worked at Fairplay Meat & Processing & Carl's Columbia Locker & Market as a butcher
