Zelpha Gay Farris, age 78 years of Louisville, Ky. formerly of Columbia passed away Friday, March 23, 2007

at 4:20 A. M. at Wesley Manor Retirement Center in Louisville

She was the daughter of the late Frank & Edith Neat Rigney and the widow of Willie "Bill" Farris who preceded her

in death on July 5, 1978

Survived by two sons: Harry L. Farris & his wife Debbie of Louisville, Ky. & Bobby L. Farris & his wife Lisa D. of Albany, GA

One daughter: Connie L. Cromwell & her husband Charles of Shepherdsville, Ky.

Three brothers: J. W. Rigney, Irvin Rigney & Frank Rigney, Jr. all of Louisville, Ky.

Two sisters: Louise Long & Betty Akin both of Columbia, Ky.

Preceded in death by one sister Pauline Scearce

Also surviving are 5 Grandchildren: Jennifer Haney, Jessica Farris, Stacey Garris, Felecia Farris & Zachary Farris

4 Great Grandchildren, several Nieces, Nephews & a host of other relatives & friends survives

Mrs. Farris was a member of Highland Park Christian Church in Louisville & a homemaker

Funeral service Monday, March 26, 2007 at 1:00 P. M. CDT at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home

Clergy officiating Bro. Ralph Hadley

Interment in Haven Hill Cemetery

Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home in charge of funeral arrangements

Family request visitation after 2:00 P. M. Sunday
