Willie Ray Partin age 86 years of Columbia, Ky. passed away Sunday

Feb. 27, 2011 at 2:40 A. M. at Westlake Regional Hospital Columbia, Ky.

He was a member of Jones Chapel United Methodist Church, a World

War II veteran, a retired USDA Soil Conservation Service District

Conservationist and a Farmer

He was born in Knox County, Kentucky on July 19, 1924 the son of

the late John Robert Partin & Nannie Elizabeth Warfield Partin

He is survived by his wife of 62 years: Flora Mills Partin of Columbia, Ky.

Two sons & spouses: Dr. Gary L. and Elizabeth Partin & Terry

and Rita Partin of Columbia, Ky.

One daughter: Sharon Lynn Palumbo of Columbia, Ky.

Grandchildren and spouses: John Ray and Karen Partin, Julie and

Robby Burton, Michael Partin, Valerie and Jason Flanagan and

Nicholas and Shauna Palumbo

Great Grandchildren: John Luke Partin, Macy Elizabeth Partin and

Jace Mathew Partin

several nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends

including Very Special care givers David and Lee Curry, Jo Greene,

Melaine Stotts and personnel from Personal Touch Home Health

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by:

Three sisters: Magelene Smith, Opal Wilson and Ruby Sharpe

Two brothers: Leffel Partin and Roy E. Partin

Funeral service Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at 11:00 A. M. at

Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home

Clergy officiating Bro. Mike Moon

Interment in Jones Chapel Cemetery with full Military Honors by local

V. F.W. Post 6097

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of Gideons Bibles or a

donation to Jones Chapel United Methodist Church building fund

and may be made at the funeral home

Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home in charge of funeral arrangements

Visitation after 4:00 P. M. Tuesday
