He is survived by his wife: Ophelia Powell Coop of Louisville, KY

Troy Sean Coop of Burlington KY

Three sisters:

Helen Melton of Charlestown, IN

Marie Cantrell of Louisville, KY

Betty Jo Coop of Columbia, KY

3 Grandchildren: Carissa Coop, Mikaela Coop & Mackenzie Coop

He was a member of Farmdale Baptist Church in Louisville, KY

Retired from General Electric in Louisville, KY, Manheim in Clarksville, IN,

Veteran of the Korean War, serving in the U.S. Air Force from 1952 to 1958
