Obituary

WILLIAM "BILL" WATSON, 87 of Elizabethtown, KY formerly of the Cane Valley Community in Adair County, KY passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at 1:50 AM at the Signature Healthcare of Elizabethtown, KY after an illness.

He was born May 7, 1929 in Cane Valley, KY the son of the late: Archie William and Mattie Wilson Watson. He was also preceded in death by one son: Gregory Keith Watson in 2010,

One grandson Trenton Thomas Watson and by one sister: Imogene Schroerlucke

Bill was a member of the Cane Valley Christian Church, a home builder in Elizabethtown for many years owning the Kentucky Builders Supply, he was a Past President of the Kentucky Home Builders Association, a Kentucky Colonel, a Mason, a member of the Lions Club in Elizabethtown, KY for many years and was a committee member of the Cane Valley Cemetery for many years.

Survived by one son: Jeffrey Watson of Elizabethtown, KY

One daughter: Marcia Siebel of Cincinnati, Ohio

One daughter in law: Donna Watson of Elizabethtown, KY

One sister: Betty Faye Langley of Leitchfield, KY

Five grandchildren Chase Thomas Watson, Becky Puckett, Nikki Skidmore, Daniel McEntush, Michael McEntush and survived by 7 great grandchildren

Funeral service: Friday, August 5, 2016 at 11:00 AM CST at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home

Clergy officiating: Bro. Ivan Tucker

Interment in the Cane Valley Cemetery

The family request visiting after 3:00 PM CST on Thursday at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home
