William Purd Bryant, 88, of Columbia, KY died Sunday, November 8, 2020 at the Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville, KY.  Born in Adair County he was the son of the late Purdom Monroe Bryant and Nellie Powell Bryant Bailey and husband of the late Louvenia Rodgers Bryant.  He was also preceded in death by a daughter Alesha Morrison.

Mr. Bryant was a member of the Bethany Baptist Church and enjoyed riding horses and 4-wheelers.

Survivors include three children Ron Bryant (Debbie), Garry Bryant (Linda) and Deborah Bryant (Steve Gadberry) all of Columbia; twelve grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; two brothers Charles and Jessie Bailey both of Indiana and several other friends and relatives.

Funeral services will be 2:00pm Friday, November 13, 2020 at the Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with burial in the Tarters Chapel Cemetery.  Visitation will be on Thursday from 4:00-8:00pm and continue on Friday morning until time for the service at the funeral home.

Bro. Jimmy Dale Cox will be officiating and pallbearers will be Shane, Garry, Justin and Tyler Bryant and Elliott and Will Morrison.
