William Neal "Billy" Nobles, 73, of Columbia, KY passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at his residence. He was born on July 26, 1951, in Campbellsville, KY to the late Thomas Neal and Betty Louise Dunbar Nobles.

Mr. Nobles was of the Christian faith, a veteran of the U. S. Army where he was a Chief Warrant Officer and a retried dispatcher for the Adair County 911 Center. He was a civil war enthusiast and enjoyed hunting, fishing, shooting guns, reloading ammo, being outdoors, and spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his loving companion and best friend Debbie Nobles of Columbia, KY; four children Doug Nobles (Laura) of Columbia, KY, Misty Moss (William) of Columbia, KY, Mike Burton (Rachel) of Glasgow, KY, and Donald Burton (Delphine) of Louisville, KY; two grandchildren Will and Nita Nobles; numerous step grandchildren, a great grandchild and his beloved cat "Poo".

The family honored Mr. Nobles' wishes of cremation and a celebration of life service will be held at 4:00pm Sunday, June 29, 2025, at the VFW Post 6097 with military honors provided by VFW Post 6097, Masonic Rites by Columbia Masonic Lodge 96 and last call by Adair County 911 Center.
