Willard C. Polston, 77, of Spring Prairie, Wisconsin passed away Tuesday, September 29, 2026 at his home.
Born in Breeding, Kentucky on December 22, 1948, he was the son of Carley and Mary (nee Davis) Polston. His early life was spent in Breeding, KY where he graduated from Adair County High School. He served in Vietnam in the US Army from 1969 until 1971. On December 28, 1971 in Tennessee, he was united in marriage to Rachel Bryant. Following marriage, they made Wheatland, Wisconsin their home. He was a Wheatland resident for 23 years.
Willard worked as a senior machinist for American Roller Company for 47 years. He loved gardening and spending time with his siblings (all 11 of them) in the early years.
Willard is survived by his wife, Rachel; children, Michelle (Mike) Breytspraak and Greg Polston; grandchildren, Rodney (Lily) Hawkins, Dr. Chris Breytspraak and Jarrett Breytspraak; great-grandchild, Lakelynn Hawkins; and sister, Carol Polston Cowan of Columbia, Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his brothers, William, Kirby, Keith, Kenneth,Wallace, Joe Preston Polston. His sisters Anna Yarberry, Della Montgomery, Arlene Miller, Phyllis Fudge..
