WILBURN "GEARY" WOLFORD age 74 years of the Jones Chapel Road, Columbia, KY

passed away Saturday, October 27, 2012 at the Summit Manor Health and Rehab Center in

Columbia, KY after several months illness.

He was born November 2, 1937 in the Millerfield Community of Adair County, the son of the

late; Omar & Nellie Mae Hardwick Wolford

Survived by his wife: Frances Coomer Wolford of Columbia, KY

Survived by two brothers:

Randall Wolford and wife Nelda June of Louisville, KY

Alton "Tom" Wolford and wife Carol of Shepherdsville, KY

Survived by a brother in law: James Claudus and Joan Coomer of Glasgow, KY

Also survived by several nieces, nephews, relatives and a host of friends

Preceded in death by a daughter Mary Ann Wolford in 1968 by a brother: Almon Wolford,

one sister Judith Hadley Lefaive and by his father and mother in law; Brack & Lucy Coomer

His brother Eugene Wolford also joined him in death on Saturday, October 27, 2012

Geary was a member of the Jones Chapel United Methodist Church, a field supervisor for the

Lining Division of Enerfab Company, a member of the Columbia Lodge # 96 and Kosair Shrine

and Louisville Scottish Rite and a US Army veteran.

Funeral service: Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home

Clergy officiating: Bro. John Blakey & Bro. Mike Moon

Interment in the Jones Chapel Cemetery

The family will receive friends after 4:00 PM on Monday at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home

Masonic rites will be conferred at 7:00 PM Monday at the funeral home by Columbia Lodge 96
