Virginia O. Grant 85, formerly of the Neatsville Community of Adair County, Kentucky passed away Friday, January 12, 2018 at 10:00 PM at the Sunrise Manor Nursing Home in Hodgenville, KY after several months illness.

She was born February 3, 1932 the daughter of the late  Grover and Laura Workman Corneal of Adair Co. Kentucky

She was preceded in death by her husband C.W. Grant on July 29, 2001 and by a grandson Michael Giles and by one brother Clyde Corneal

Mrs. Grant is survived by two daughters:

Ann (Bobby) Skaggs of Bardstown, KY

Judy (Travis) Giles of Columbia, KY

Four grandchildren; Mark (Michelle) Grant, Todd Burton, Timmy Burton, Sherri Giles

Seven great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren

One sister-in-law; Mary Ellen Grant of Columbia, KY  and a host of other relative and friends.

Mrs. Grant was a member of the Tabernacle Christian Church. She retired from Fruit of the Loom with 35 years of service as a machine operator.
