She was born on Oct. 10, 1940 in Adair County, KY

She was the daughter of the late James Eli & Cecil McQueary Burton

The widow of James Allen "Shorty" Holt who preceded her in death

on March 21, 1989, also preceded in death by one brother & two sisters

Kelly Burton, Diane Marple, Jean Gray & Helen Curry

One grandchild Phillip Wesley Mann

She is survived by two a daughters Jamie Owens of Campbellsville, KY

& Charlotte (Mark) Hoots of Caneyville, KY

Two sons Dwain (Charlotte) Caton of Campbellsville, KY

& Jimmy Caton of Campbellsville, KY

Two sisters Kay Thomas of Columbia, KY &

Marie Curry of Louisville, KY

7 Grandchildren, 1 expected Grandchild & 1 Great Grand child

several nieces, nephews & a host of other relatives & friends survive

She had attended the Bearwallow United Methodist Church, retired

from the Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville & was former president

of the American Legion Post 82 Ladies Axillary
