Travis "Tater" Pyles age 68 years of Columbia, KY passed away, Monday, July 30, 2012 at 12:04 AM at the Liberty Care Center in Liberty, KY after several months illness.

He was born July 31, 1943 in the Ella Community of Adair County the son of the late: Johnnie & Rosa Sallee Pyles of Adair Co. KY

Survived by his wife: Imogene West Pyles of Columbia, KY

Jamie Reynolds of Knifley, KY

Teresa Mondie of Campbellsville, KY

Betty Overstreet and husband William of Columbia, KY

Three brothers:

Billy Pyles of Russell Springs, KY

Tommy Pyles of Pensacola, Florida

Gleason Pyles of Columbia, KY

Four sisters:

Shirley Brown of Columbia, KY

Norma Miller of Knifley, KY

KayWethington of Horse Cave, KY

Joyce Giles of Knifley, KY

9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren survive

as well as a host of other relatives and friends

Mr. Pyles was a member of the Barnett's Creek United Methodist Church and was a former golf course greens keeper in Greenwood, Indiana
