Trannie Sullivan age 66 years of the Freedom Community of Adair County, KY passed away Sunday Jan. 5, 2014 at 9:25 A.M. at her home after several months illness.

She was born September 1, 1947 in Garlin, KY the daughter of the late James Oliver

and Mary Elizabeth Coffey Powell

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband: Arvin "Bud" Rooks in 1976

She later married Larry Sullivan who survives

Also survived by two daughters:

Teresa Devore and husband Bobby of Columbia, KY

Melissa Wilkerson and husband Brad of Russell Springs, KY

One son:

Tony Rooks and wife (Christy) of Mooresville, Indiana

Three sisters:

Sarah Green of Louisville, KY Ophelia Coop of Louisville, KY and Clora Pridemore

of Louisville, KY

Nine grandchildren: Ashley Overstreet, Shannon Gosnell, Jessica Mills Burton, Tiffany Rooks, Tyler Rooks, Taryn Rooks, Trace Rooks, Allie Wilkerson, Ava Wilkerson

Eight great grandchildren survive

Trannie was a member of the West 80 Church of God and a homemaker.
