Thurston Sullivan, 81, of Louisville, KY and formerly of the Cundiff community of Adair County died Monday, December 10, 2018 at his residence.  Born in Adair County he was the son of the late Richard Colonel and Jessie Marie Hadley Sullivan.  Mr. Sullivan was retired from the U. S. Army and the Corp of Engineers.  He was an avid hunter and of the Methodist faith.

Survivors include his wife Sandra Campbell Sullivan of Louisville; two sons Richard Sean Sullivan and Byron Sullivan (Diana) both of Louisville, KY; two granddaughters Casandra Rose Sullivan and Chi'ara Marie Ashley Sullivan both of Louisville; a brother Randall Sullivan (Martha) of Greensburg, KY; a sister Adrian Doris Hadley of Columbia and several nieces and a nephew.

Funeral services will be 11:00am Friday, December 14, 2018 at the Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with burial in the Haven Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be after 10:00am Thursday at the funeral home.

Bro. Mike Helm will be officiating and pallbearers will be Sean Sullivan, Byron Sullivan, Randall Sullivan, Dwight Hadley, Terry Hadley, David Hadley, Dwan Hadley, Wendell Sturgill and Chris Mims.

Full military rites will be presented by Columbia VFW Post 6097 at the graveside.
