Thelbert Lee Curry age 70 years of 608 Greensburg St., Columbia, Ky. passed

Away Sunday, Feb. 25, 2007 at 5:20 P.M. at his home after an illness

He was the son of the late Ausie Walker & Ida S. Willis Curry of Adair County

He was preceded in death by his wife Gloria Lewis Curry on Jan. 6, 1998 and

Later married Nola Kelsay Curry who survives

Besides his wife he is survived by two daughters and their spouses Lila and John Ford of Columbia

and Nancy & Richard Griffith of Las Vegas, Nevada

Preceded in death by one son Myron Neil Curry on Dec. 18, 1962

Also surviving One step son and his spouse Tony and Kim Mitchum of Glensfork, Ky.

Foster son and his spouse Ed and Donna Skalecki of Palmetto, FL

Three brothers and their spouses Ben and Imogene Curry of Shepherdsville, Ky.

Gwuin and Jennie Curry of Smithsville, Ky. and Clifton and Phyllis Curry of

Columbia, Ky.

Four sisters and their spouses Darcie and Phillip Radford of Shepherdsville, Ky.

Nona Bess and Odell Bennett of Edmonton, Ky., Maggie and the late Lewis Janes

Of Columbia, Ky. and Nell Curry of Columbia, Ky.

5 Grandchildren Andrew Thole, Joshua Ford, Monica McElyea, Samantha Griffith & Holli Mitchum

Several Aunts, Nieces, Nephews and a host of friends survives

Thelbert was owner of Curry's Floor Covering and Wallpaper for 36 years

A member of New Life for the Nations Church, served as Chairman of the Board

For the Bearwallow Perpetual Care Fund, Founding member of the Adair County

Jaycees, Founding member of Adair County Rescue Squad and was a 40+ years

Member of Hood Masonic Lodge #839

Funeral service Thursday, March 1, 2007 at 2:00 P. M. at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary

Funeral Home

Clergy officiating Bro. Gerald Reliford

Interment in Bearwallow Cemetery

Masonic service will be Wedneday night at 7:00 P. M. by Hood Masonic

Masonic Lodge #839 at the funeral home

In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the Bearwallow Cemetery Fund

Or the New Life for the Nations Church Building Fund and may be made at the funeral home

Visitation after 4:30 P.M. Tuesday
