Teresa Faye Jackson, 64, of Columbia, Kentucky, passed away on September 3, 2026, at her residence. She was born on July 17, 1962, in Louisville, Kentucky, to Doris Jean Milburn Montgomery of Columbia, KY who survives and the late Fred Lawrence Lee, Sr..

Teresa will be remembered as a woman who found joy in life’s simple and meaningful pleasures. She enjoyed painting, gardening, and yard work, and she especially treasured spending time with her family and friends. Her faith was also an important part of her life, and she was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Louisville, Kentucky.

Above all, Teresa’s life was centered on those she loved. In addition to her mother she is survived by; her children, Brooke Jackson and Michael Jackson (Mandy); and her grandchildren, Lorielle Jackson Hall, Andrea Ralph, and Carson Smith. She is also survived by her siblings, Fred Lee (Brenda), Larry Lee (Jo) and Pam Lee (Gary Marvel) and several special nieces and nephews. The love of her family was a lasting part of her life, and her memory will continue to live on in each of them.

She was preceded in death by her father Fred L. Lee Sr., her husband, John Michael “Doc” Jackson and her sister, Karen Bishop.

Funeral services will be at 1:00pm on Sunday, September 6, 2026, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with cremation to follow. Visitation will be on Sunday after 10:00am at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
