Stariett Johnson, 78, of Columbia, KY died Friday, February 11, 2022 at Livingston Regional Hospital in Livingston, TN.  He was born on May 30, 1943 in Russell Springs, KY to the late Gordon and Ester Hammonds Johnson.

Stariett was a member of the Russell Springs Church of God and a retired employee of the City of Columbia.

He is survived by his wife Carol Coomer Johnson of Columbia, KY and a sister Betty Johnson of Columbia, KY.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter Tina Johnson and four siblings Emma Johnson, Judy Wheat, Edward Johnson and John Johnson.

Funeral services will be 11:00am Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with burial in the Sparksville Baptist Church Cemetery.  Visitation will be after 9:00am Wednesday at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.
