Shirley Louise Burton, 82, of Knifley, KY passed away Saturday, July 26, 2025, at her residence. She was born on September 7, 1942, in Green County, Ky to the late Welby and Ruby Dobson Warren. She was preceded in death by her husband Vernon Burton.

Mrs. Burton was a member of the Grace Mission Church and enjoyed gardening, fishing, doing crafts, and spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include four children Peggy Burton Clark (companion Jim Pruitt), Rhonda Snider (Doug), Denise Kessinger (Tom), and Kevin Burton (Cheryl) all of Indiana; eleven grandchildren Jason Willhite (Rachel), Logan Clark, Jorydon Clark, Hannah Snider, Dakota Snider, Hunter Snider, Makenzie Stiffler (Kieffer), Bronson Kessinger (Paxton), Brody Kessinger, Ryan Burton, and Chase Burton; five great grandchildren Willow Willhite, Wyatt Willhite, Waylon Willhite, Atticus Stiffler, and Arthur Bennett; two sisters Brenda Caldwell and Joan Beavers (Alan) both of Knifley, KY and several other friends and relatives.

Funeral services will be 11:00am Thursday, July 31, 2025, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with burial in the Robinson Chapel Cemetery. Bro. Larry Harrah and Bro. Chris Caffey will be officiating.

Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4:00-8:00pm and will continue Thursday morning until time for the service at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.
