She was born July 15, 1940 the daughter of the late Reid and Beulah McIntyre Estes

She was preceded in death by her husband: Walter Parrish in 2007

Preceded in death by these siblings: Morris Willard Estes, Hadis Bryant Estes and Nelda Taylor

Survived by one daughter:

Rose Harvey and husband Steven of Louisville, KY

Special friends: Susie and Jesse Wells of Louisville, KY

One grandchild: Rhiannon Harvey

One step grandchild: Kaela Harvey

Three sisters: Grace Sparks of Woodburn, KY Jean Nokes of Columbia, KY and Nancy McKinney of Columbia, KY

Shirley was a retired hairdresser and operated the Southway Beauty Salon for 21 years and a member of the Breeding United Methodist Church.
