Sharon Kay Rector, 54, of Columbia, died Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at her residence.  Born in Columbia, KY she is the daughter of Phillip Conner (Joyce) of Albany and Carolyn Kay Carter Hamlett of Columbia, KY.   Sharon loved gardening and growing beautiful flowers.

In addition to her mother and father she is survived by a daughter Amanda Reliford (Fiancé Donnie Gribbins) of Columbia, KY; a son Chris Reliford (Dawn) of Columbia; three grandchildren Jacob, Abby and Samantha Abrell; a sister Susan Anderson (Keith) of Russell Springs, KY; a half-sister Mia Conner of Covington, KY; three nephews Richie French (Nikki), Darris Anderson and Lucas Anderson and three great nieces.

Graveside services will be 1:00pm Saturday, June 29, 2019 at the Freedom Cemetery with Bro. Charles Edwards officiating.  Visitation will be on Saturday from 10:30am-12:30pm at the Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the funeral home to help assist with funeral expenses.
