Schuyler D. McGaha age 88 years of Liberty Road, Columbia, Ky. passed away Wednesday
Jan. 18, 2012 at 4:00 A. M. at Summit Manor Health & Rehab Center Columbia, Ky.
He was born on Oct. 21, 1923 in Adair County
He was the son of the late Alfred & Mattie Williams McGaha
Survived by his wife of 65 years + Barbara J. Bryant McGaha of Columbia, Ky.
Two sons: Senator Vernie McGaha & wife Connie of Russell Springs, Ky.
Darryl McGaha of Columbia, Ky.
One daughter: Denise Glanzer of Campbellsville, Ky.
One sister: Maxine McGaha of Campbellsville, Ky.
4 Grandchildren: Brian McGaha & wife Jeannie, Susan Popplewell & husband Tim,
Jennifer Houk & husband John & Brandon Glanzer & wife Megan
5 Great Grandchildren: Luke Popplewell, Braxton Glanzer, Bryant Glanzer,
Skyler Houk & Taylor Houk
Special caregivers: Gary Lawless, Patsy Kemp & Barbara Jones
Several nieces, nephews & a host of other relatives & friends survive
He was a member of New Hope Separate Baptist Church, a field representative for
Southern Wood Piedmont Co., he was an original quartet member of the Crossroads Quartet
which was fomer in 1960 singing in churches & gospel singings locally, surrounding counties & other states & was a Veteran of World War II. He was a member of The Adair Gideon
