Obituary

Sarah Jane "Sally" Markle age 64 years of 1595 Montpelier Road,

Columbia, KY (the Montpelier Community) passed away Friday,

October 26, 2007 at 11:15 a.m. at her home after several weeks

illness. She was a native of Allentown, Pennsylvania,

daughter of the late Revere Thomas & Marian Christine Mantz Lehman

Sally was a member of the St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Campbellsville, KY a retired assistant professor of Developmental

Education at Lindsey Wilson College, she was a former elementary

teacher in Pennsylvania, a graduate of Millersville University in

Millersville, Pennsylvania and Western Kentucky University

Survivors include her husband: David Markle of Columbia, KY

One daughter: Thirza Peevey and husband Tom of Versailles, KY

One granddaughter: Marian Peevey

One sister in law: Suzie Haney of Pittsburg, PA

Several other relatives and friends survive

Memorial service: Sunday, November 4, 2007 at 3:00 PM at the

V P Henry Auditorium on the campus of Lindsey Wilson College

Clergy officiating: Rev. Karl Lusk & Rev. David Brannen

The family has chosen cremation and there will be a reception following the service in the Cramner Dining Center at Lindsey Wilson College

Memorials are suggested to the Vincent's Fund for International
