Sandra Jean Thomas Evert, 71, of Columbia, KY passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at Summit Manor Nursing Home. She was born on November 5, 1952, in Baltimore, MD to the late Joseph Edward and Alice Marie Rhoads Thomas. She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Scott Evert.

Mrs. Evert was a very active member of the Pleasant Hill Community Church. She had recently celebrated 40 years of sobriety and enjoyed helping others with their addiction.

Survivors include her siblings Fred Thomas, John Thomas, Alice Marie Thomas Dobbs all of Columbia, KY, Joe Thomas of Essex, MD, Ed Thomas of Hendersonville, NC, and Mindy Thomas Bolton of Montevallo, AL and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be 11:00am Saturday, July 20, 2024, at Pleasant Hill Community Church at 8545 Hwy 1680 Russell Springs, KY. Visitation will be on Saturday from 9:00-11:00am at the Pleasant Hill Community Church.
