Sandra Lee Janes, 75, of Columbia, KY passed away on September 3, 2026, at her residence. She was born on February 6, 1951, in Adair County, Kentucky to the late Chester and Alta Bault Robertson.

Sandra will be remembered for the love she shared with those around her and for the joy she found in spending time with her family and friends. Her life was also marked by her faith as a member of Word of Life Church, a connection that was an important part of who she was.

She leaves behind her husband, Kenneth Janes of Columbia, KY; her son, Doug Janes (Monica) of Columbia, KY; her grandson, Cody Janes (fiancee Abby James); and her brother, Chester Eugene Robertson (Sandra) and their children Jenni Mulrooney (Mike) and Jason Robertson. Each of them, along with others whose lives she touched through family, friendship, and faith, carry forward treasured memories of her presence, her care, and the time they shared with her.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00pm on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at the Mt. Carmel Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations go toward Gideon Bibles.
