Roy Frank Radford, 85, of Columbia, died Monday, March 16, 2020 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow.  Born in Cumberland County he was the son of the late Willie Everett and Lovie Jane Long Radford and husband of the late Oma Marie Curry Radford.

Mr. Radford was a member of the Bearwallow United Methodist Church and attended the Millerfield Brethren in Christ Church.  He was a member of the Hill & Valley Saddle Club and loved horses and trail riding.

Survivors include a daughter Tanya Jessie (Kenny) of Columbia; two sons Larry Dale Radford of Glasgow, KY and Kerry Wayne Radford (Terrie) of Richmond, KY; four grandchildren Jared Radford (Candace), Julie Vandiver (Keith), Franki Dalton (Greg) and J. T. Morrison; 11 great-grandchildren, 2 great great-grandchildren; a brother Phillip Radford (Doris) of Shepardsville, KY and a special family member and former daughter-in-law Marilyn Radford of Columbia.

In addition to his parents and wife he is preceded in death a sister Barbara Jean Curry.

At the request of the family and in an attempt to protect their family and the public from any health issues facing our nation at this time, there will be a private funeral service on Thursday at the Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with burial in the Haven Hill Cemetery.

There will be a celebration of life service held at a later date for the public at the Millerfield Brethren in Christ Church.
