He was born on April 23, 1947 in Adair County, KY

He was the son of the late Owen Hollis & Mary Frances Hitch Shepherd

He is survived by one son: Clark (Mitzi) Shepherd of Lexington, KY

Five sisters: Laverne Murphy of Louisville, KY, Hester (J.B.) Powell of

Shelbyville, KY, Emilene (Alvis) Floyd of Columbia, KY,

Kathlene (Ranel) Curry of Columbia, KY & Sherry Shepherd of

Mt.Washington, KY

Two brothers: David (Dorinda) Shepherd of Goshen, KY & Ricky (Grethel) Shepherd

of Costa Rica

1 Grandson Austin Shepherd

Several nieces, nephews & a host of other relatives & friends survive

He was Vietnam Veteran serving his country in the U.S. Army
