ROGER COWAN, 60 of Columbia, KY passed away Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 10:12 pm at the University Hospital in Louisville, KY after several months illness.

He was born July 1, 1957 in Columbia, KY the son of the late Walker and Doris McGaha Cowan. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by these siblings, Sam Cowan, W. T. Cowan, Kenny Cowan, Cassius Cowan, Leonard Cowan, Peggy Fudge, Carol Luttrell, Patricia Montgomery, Gertrude Burton, Glenna Cowan

Survived by two sons:  Derek Cowan of Columbia, KY and Taylor Cowan of Russell Springs, KY

One daughter:  Stephanie "Tessie" Vaughn and husband Jared of Campbellsville, KY

Six brothers survive:  Calvin Cowan, Vaughn (Connie) Cowan, Clifton Cowan, Phillip (Sherry) Cowan, Donnie (Phyllis) Cowan, Darrell (Lisa) Cowan

Two sisters: Leoda (Donnie) Curry of Columbia, KY and Dora Ames of  Tallua, ILL.

Five grandchildren: Kiara Cowan, Cecilia Salyers, Cassius Cowan, Maddix Vaughn, Greenlee Vaughn

Two special nieces Allison Bardin and husband Brandon and Amy Mouser

Special great nephews   Kaden Bardin and Kyptyn Mouser

Roger is also survived by several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and many, many friends.

Roger was the owner of Cowan Concrete for several years. He enjoyed his UK Wildcats, trading in lots of antique items and visiting with friends.
