passed away Monday, December 14, 2009 at 8:07 PM at

T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, KY after a short illness.

He was the son of the late: Ray & Elmer Petty McClister of Adair Co.

Survived by his wife of 62 years: Louise Stotts McClister of Columbia

Four daughters:

Vernice Lawhorn and husband Raymond of Columbia, KY

Bonnie Lawhorn and husband Randall of Columbia, KY

Helen Willis and husband Ricky of Columbia, KY

Shirley Powell and husband Kenny of Columbia, KY

Three sons:

Danny McClister and wife: Debbie of Columbia, KY

Jackie McClister and wife: Peggy of Burkesville, KY

Donnie McClister and a special friend Donna Henderson of Campbellsville KY

Survived by one sister:

Zelpha Wheeler of Columbia, KY

Survived by 14 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends

He was preceded in death by three sisters and three brothers: Nola Melson, Corrine Furkins, Beauna Woods, Bryce McClister, Bill McClister and Garnett McClister

Mr. McClister was a member of the Flatwoods Separate Baptist Church for over

46 years
