Thursday, Nov. 7, 2013 at 6:27 A.M. at Westlake Regional Hospital

after an illness

He was born on October 27, 1922 in Adair County

He was the son of the late Lewis P. & Matra P. Reynolds Brockman

Preceded in death by an infant son Alvin Lewis Brockman in 1949

Two brothers & two sisters: Wallace Brockman, Paul "Charlie" Brockman,

Edna Mae Brockman & Ruth Garmon

He is survived by his wife: Mary Louise Pollard Brockman

Two sons: James Robert (Amber Susan) Brockman of Paducah, Ky. &

Bobby (Betty) Brockman of Gallatin, TN

Two daughters: Mary Ann (Jerry) Quinn of Columbia, Ky. &

Cindy (Brian) Melton of Columbia, Ky.

Two brothers: Davis B. Brockman & Ores A. Brockman of Columbia, Ky.

7 Grandchildren Melanie Shinbaum, Ashley Toll, Jayme McClure,

James "Robby" Brockman, Timothy Shawn Jones,

Emily Melton & Luke Melton

1 step-Grandson Brandon Quinn

5 Great Grandchildren Kaitlyn & Brock Shinbaum, Gwendolyn &

Josephine Toll & Mason McClure

Several nieces, nephews & a host of other relatives & friends survive

He was a member of Pollards Chapel United Methodist Church,

attended Trinity United Methodist Church, was a retired farmer & carpenter

a veteran of World War II serving his country in the U. S. Army

Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home

Clergy officiating Rev. William R. Davenport

Interment in Cane Valley Cemetery with full military honors by the

local VFW Post 6097 & the Kentucky Patriot Guard Riders
