Richard Edward Lee, 89, of Columbia died Friday, April 12, 2019 at his residence.  Born in Creelsboro, KY he was the son of the late Oakley and Decie Johnson Lee.  Mr. Lee was a member of the Columbia Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife of 69 years Mary Ellen Mann Lee of Columbia; a son Doug Lee of Columbia; four grandchildren Emily Billingsley (Jonathan), Cortney Edwards (Stephen), Lacey Rooks (Eric) and Cameron Lee; six great-grandchildren Madison & Brenton Billingsley, Caleb, Katie & Maddux Edwards and Macy Rooks; a sister Mary Irene Groce of Columbia and several nieces, nephews and friends.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son Gary Dale Lee, a sister Lena Fowler and four brothers  Delmer, Arvis, Paul and Herman Lee.

Funeral services will be 11:00am Monday, April 15, 2019 at the Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with burial in the Haven Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be on Sunday from 3:00-8:00pm at the funeral home.

Bro. Terry Smith will be officiating and pallbearers will be Jonathan Billingsley, Stephen Edwards, Eric Rooks, Cameron Lee, Caleb Edwards, Brenton Billingsley, Adam Grant and Chuckie Rogers.
