Richard Eugene Davis, 59, of Louisville, KY passed away Saturday, November 29, 2025, at his residence. He was born in Lebanon, KY on April 2, 1966, to the late William Dale "Pete" Davis and Mary Childers Davis of Columbia, Ky who survives.

Mr. Davis was of the Christian faith and a graduate of Adair County High School and Lindsey Wilson College. He was an avid University of Louisville fan and enjoyed collecting things, listening to music, making everyone laugh with his wit and dad jokes, and spending time with all his family and friends.

In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife Gina Whitworth Davis of Louisville, KY; his children Shauna Nunn of Campbellsville, KY, Sara Davis of Columbia, KY, Lauren Barnett (Josh) of Louisville, KY, Emily Taylor (Titus) of Louisville, KY and Bryce Curley (Laighla) of Rineyville, KY; nine grandchildren Davis Nunn, Lillian Barnett, Emma Barnett, T. J. Taylor, Chandler Taylor, Noah Taylor, Silas Taylor, Adian Travis-Curley, and Liam Curley; a sister Amanda Page (Dusty) of Columbia, KY; an uncle Charlie Childers of Columbia, KY; two aunts Vickie Childers of Columbia, KY and Lillian Watson of Lebanon, KY.

In honoring his wishes, cremation was chosen and there will be a celebration of life service at 6:00pm Friday, December 5, 2025, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.

A memorial visitation will be on Friday from 2:00-6:00pm at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.
