Rebecca Faye Burton Murphy, 64, of Louisville, KY died Saturday, February 02, 2019 at the University Of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, KY.  Born in Columbia, KY she was the daughter of the late Asa Orby and Revone Burton.  Mrs. Murphy was a member of the Highview Baptist Church and a retired Registered Nurse.  She loved spending time with her grandchildren, gardening and scrapbooking.

Survivors include her husband Kenneth Murphy of Louisville; a son Shawn Patrick Murphy of Louisville; a daughter Amanda Marie Robbins (Benjamin) of Louisville; two grandsons Maddox and Aaron Robbins; two brothers Larry Burton (Julie) and Archie Burton (Phyllis) both of Columbia and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother Dexter "Donnie" Burton and a sister Reba Burton.

Funeral services will be 1:00pm Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at the Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with burial in the Antioch Cemetery.  Visitation will be after 4:00pm Monday at the funeral home.
