She was the daughter of the late: Frank & Edith Neat Rigney of Adair County, Kentucky

She was preceded in death by her husband: George Thomas Scearce on

May 27, 1957

Survived by one son : Tommy Scearce of Columbia, KY

One daughter: Donna Karnes of Columbia, KY

Three brothers:

J.W. Rigney, Irvin Rigney, Frank Rigney Jr. all of Louisville, Ky

Three sisters: Gay Farris of Louisville, KY

Louise Long & Betty Akin both of Columbia, KY

4 grandchildren: Lisa Wheeler, Chris Karnes, Crystal Spoon, Anthony Karnes all of Columbia, KY

7 great grandchildren: Nicole Wolford, Ryan, Amber, Colby Karnes,

Tyler, Jordon, Jacob Spoon

Several nieces and nephews survive:

Mrs. Scearce was employed by Union Underwear in Campbellsville

for 23 years
