at the Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Ky.

He was born on Feb. 24, 1924 in Casey County, Ky.

He was the son of the late Sylvester & Ruth May Lane Young

Survived by his wife Juanita Wooten Loy Young of Louisville, Ky. formerly of Adair County

Two daughters: Beverly Carpenter of Danville, Ky. & Connie Evans of Versailles, Ky.

Three brothers: Melvin Young of Louisville, Ky., Ray Young of TN & Owen Young of Oregon

Three Grandchildren, 1 Great Grandchild & a host of other relatives & friends survive

He was of the Methodist faith, a Carpenter and a Veteran of World II
