PAUL WEST age 85 years of the Thompson-Hood Veterans Center in

Wilmore, KY formerly of Columbia,Kentucky passed away Monday,

February 12, 2007 at 6:07 A.M. at the Veterans Hospital in Lexington,

KY after an illness.

He was the son of the late: Oscar & Armilda Rich West of Adair County, KY

He was married to Lucille Ellis West for 25 years

Survived by two sons:

Freeman West and his wife Joyce of Columbia, KY

Richard West of Lexington, Kentucky

Two daughters:

Phyllis Gooden of Columbia, KY

Nancy Ellis and her husband Kelly of Columbia, KY

One brother survives: Robert Scott West of Cincinnati, Ohio

One sister survives: Ruby Brown of Cincinnati, Ohio

Preceded in death by brothers: Raymond, Joe, Hershel, Floyd, Lonzie West and sisters:

Eva Bernard, Letha Dickerson, Lola Bell West and Stella Wingler 14 Grandchildren & 12 Great Grandchildren surive

Mr. West was a US Army veteran of World War II and was a retired

foundry worker from the Willard Bronze Company in Ohio

Funeral service: Wednesday, February 14, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at

Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home

Clergy officiating: Rev. Travis Adams

Interment in the Haven Hill Cemetery

McQueary Funeral Home
