PAUL GREEN SR. age 88 years of the Sano Community of Adair County passed away

Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at 2:47 PM at the Aububon Hospital in Louisville, KY

He was born March 30, 1923 in Green County, KY the son of the late: Cellie & Ella Blaydes Green

He was preceded in death by his wife: Florene Curry Green on August 27, 2010

Survived by two sons:

Paul Green Jr. of Columbia, KY

L.C. Green & wife: Barbara of Columbia, KY

Two daughters:

Carolyn Sue Conner of Columbia, KY

Collene Rooks & husband: Allen of Columbia, KY

Two brothers:

James Green of Columbia, KY

Carl Green of Louisville, KY

Three sisters:

Velma Rooks of Taylorsville, Indiana

Mable Ruth Bryant of Columbia, KY

Eva Cooley of Columbia, KY

8 grandchildren:

Todd Green, Kim Pelly, Chris Green, Troy Green, Timmy Green, Beth Sneed, Renee' Cox, Torie Rooks and 10 great grandchildren survive as well as a host of nieces and nephews;

He was preceded in death by these siblings: David Green, Joe Green, Rachel McGaha, Annie Acree, Flossie Campbell and an infant sister.

Mr. Green was a member of the Freedom Separate Baptist Church where he served as a deacon of over 45 years and a farmer.

Funeral service: Friday, September 9, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Freedom Separate Baptist Church

Clergy officiating: Bro. Jim Goff & Bro. Ronnie Campbell

Interment in the Freedom Cemetery
