He was born on Dec. 4, 1953 in Adair County

He was the son of the late Noel "Gabby" & Ruth Marie Sneed Hayes

He is survived by two sisters: Cathy Morris & husband Michael of Louisville, Ky. &

Susan Loy & husband Dwayne of Glensfork, Ky.

Six nephews & nieces: Chris Morris, LeeAnn Morris, Andy Morris,

Ben Loy, Adam Loy & Lisa Case

Four great nieces & one great nephew

and a host of other relatives & friends survive

Paul was the founding editor of the Adair Progress newspaper
