Odean Marie Burton Franklin, 68, of Columbia, KY died Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at Russell County Hospital in Russell Springs, KY.  She was born in Columbia, KY

on April 30, 1954 to the late Odie "Bouncer" and Marie Pittman Burton. She was preceded in death by her husband Elmo Franklin.

Odean attended the Praise Assembly Of God Church in Columbia, and loved western movies and doing puzzles.

Survivors include two sisters Ann Murphy of Columbia, KY and Carolyn Sue Satterfield of Carthage, TN; nieces and nephews Daniel Gadberry (Betty Sue) of Glensfork, KY, Tammy Hancock, Brenda Long (David), Tommie Lee Arnold  and Joeann Silcox (Boyd) all of Carthage, TN; brother-in-laws David Murphy (Carolyn Jean) of Fairplay, Clurel "Doc" Murphy and Martin Bryant all of Columbia; three sister-in-laws Maggie Grider and Dorothy Murphy of Columbia and Lula Mae Franklin of Greensburg, KY; her Adanta T R family and her special fur baby.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a brother Roy Lee Burton.

Funeral services will be 2:00pm Friday, July 1, 2022 at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with burial in the Bearwallow Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Friday after 10:00am at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.

Bro. Junior Crawhorn will be officiating and pallbearers will be Daniel Gadberry, Kodie Gadberry, Hunter Gadberry, and Michael Hancock.
