Nellie Lee Cox Beard, 79 of the Pellyton Community of Adair County passed away  Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at her home  after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born February 15, 1939 in Casey County, KY the daughter of the late J. Louis and Esther Marie (Cox) Cox, she was preceded in death by one brother Eais Cox

She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years; Bobby G. Beard of Pellyton, KY

Two sons;   Troy (Myre)  Beard of Shepherdsville, KY

Chris (April) Beard of Pellyton, KY

One brother;  John (Paula) Cox of Hustonville,  KY

Two sisters:

Fay White of Liberty, KY

Connie (Carroll "Bubby") Reid of Hustonville, KY

7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren

A graveside service will be held Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 10:00 AM at the Barnetts Creek Cemetery, Barnett's Creek Road, Columbia, KY

Clergy officiating   Bro. Larry Lemmon and Bro. Troy Long

Interment in the Barnetts Creek Cemetery, Barnetts Creek Road

There will be no public visitation
