NANCY KARNES , 73 years of Columbia, KY passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at 4:44 pm at the Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown, KY after several weeks illness.

She was born December 30, 1941 in Celina, Tennessee the daughter of the late Edison and Ora Willis Spears of Cumberland County, KY

She was preceded in death by her husband; Austin Karnes in March 2010 and by one infant son Austin Carl Karnes on July 8, 1964

Survived by three daughters:

Elizabeth Spears and husband, Larry of Burkesville, KY

Donna Voris and husband Victor of Burkesville, KY

Tonya Ballou and Glenn Benham of Brandenburg, KY

Two sons:

Eddie Grissom and wife Donna of Upton, KY

Justin Karnes and wife Candy of Columbia, KY

One brother:

Stanley Spears of Indianapolis, IN

14 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren survive

She is survived by a very special niece Shirley Long of Burkesville, KY

And by a very special friend and sister in law Wanda Karnes of Columbia, KY

Also survived by a host of other relatives and friends

Mrs. Karnes was a homemaker
