She was born on July 25, 1938 in Adair County

She was the daughter of the late William Robert & Cecil Burton Cowan

and was preceded in death by one sister Shirley Cowan

She is survived by two sisters

Joyce Cowan of Columbia, Ky.

Doris Hadley of Columbia, Ky.

Two nieces & one nephew

Kathy Jones, Phyllis Montgomery & Carson Hadley

Great Nephews and niece

Adam Montgomery, Stephanie Watson & Dwayne Hadley

Great Great niece Callie Grace Montgomery

Maxine was a member of Bearwallow United Methodist and had

worked at the Fruit of Loom factory in Campbellsville & Jamestown
